The skill of Bigelow’s storytelling is that while you know the outcome it’s still utterly gripping to watch.

Interesting that 10 years later, an actual picture of the stealth Blackhawks has yet to be seen. These are probably a pretty good guess, but the real thing is still secret.

I like how they got the age right of typical DEVGRU operators. These guys would be on average in their mid 30s and some being in their 40s a far cry from young new SEAL recruits.

What a dangerous mission in real life. I've read so much about it...so much so that something was going to go wrong no matter what. Thank God it wasn't that bad.

When they’re loading up Cairo into the chopper. (Chills down my spine)… you know they mean business. The confidence he is showing getting into the chopper is something comparable to Ray Lewis leading Baltimore out onto the field for a prime time game.

Sometimes I'd prefer less music in these sort of realistic and gritty movies. Sicario is a good example of doing it right.
