However, Hillary’s life starts to fall apart when simultaneously she loses her part-time newspaper writing job when the newspaper itself folds, and Jason dumps her as he tries to focus on his career which is seemingly more important to him than Hillary. On the advice of her best friend Sophie, Hillary - who feels she can’t go home without Jason, especially as her two sisters’ lives seem to meet their mother’s approval.

I saw this movie two years ago and I will still look forward to watching it Christmas this year. It makes me feel the love around Christmas, coupled with the singing of wonderful hymns. You cannot truly separate Christmas from love. I hope everyone finds their true love and enjoy Christmas with them this year.

Wow, one of the best i've seen in a while. Spent much of the time smiling. Such a beautiful story, and the part they sang "Gloria" was amazing.

The way the real Jason stuff were thrown out really got me laughing. This is a great movie with a beautiful ending. Alot of people make such mistakes, there's nothing happening in your marriage that you didn't see in your courtship but you just choose to ignore the red flag and go through with the wedding, but in this movie, she identify the problem and made a decision. What a great story for everyone to learn from. Love is never a mistake.

Amazing eye opener, we all run after love, we want to do everything to keep that love, but the real question is are we really happy? Are we with that person because of love or because we are too afraid to be lonely again if we let out the truth? Does that person really love us or are we just a bkp plan? True love does exist and you will truly find it if you really believe and look with an open heart, just don't make love blind you. I have seen this movie 3 or 4 times....love Jason Bridges...how could you not fall in love with him. I really enjoyed this movie...the scene where they sing together...so much chemistry...beautiful...

Of course you should put effort to meet your lover expectations, to work and build that love even if you are happy with partner right now. Love is important part of our life.
