the village disregard all the sacrifice the Uchiha clan made in order to protect the village. The clan leader Fugaku was stated to have equal contribution in war with minato. Fugaku never liked war, he shows itachi the reality of second and 3rd ninja war. The Uchiha wanted a bloodless revolution but the village was so obsessed with power that they even used massacre as their option..

Long ago the clan abandoned their leader (madara) for the village, the leader who thought after tobirama becomes hokage the Uchiha gonna get discriminated which did happen.
