🧀 Ready to make cheese? Learn how to play Fromage in just 9 minutes! 🧀

Fromage is designed by Matthew O'Malley and Ben Rosset, it's illustrated by Pavel Zhovba, and published by Road to Infamy Games, who helped sponsor this video.

Fromage is a simulatenous worker placement game, in which you'll place workers to make cheese and gather resources. The catch? The board will rotate each turn and your workers will return back to your supply only when they face you at the start of the turn. As you take better actions, workers make take longer to return to you, and you'll also want to be mindful of each Venue as cheese scores differently in each quadrant. Will you be the best cheese maker?

Thanks for watching our How to Play video of Fromage! Have questions? Please ask us in the comments as we're happy to chat about this game with you!

Question of the day: What is your favorite type of cheese?

MISTAKE: YOU DO INDEED GET TO FULFILL ORDERS FROM BONUS CHEESE FROM LIVESTOCK! I misread the rulebook my apologies!

Just played this game for the first time in person, absolutely loved it! BGA implementation is good, but in person is so much better. Spinning the board and placing your cheese :)
Can my favorite cheese be Fondue? I love a good fondue. Otherwise it's probably Brie (I eat the rind too).

Oh my favourite cheese is Swiss Le Gruyére.
Description of the cheese in not my words: sweet and savoury Swiss Le Gruyère is distinctly nutty with a hint of caramel. This hard cheese melts very well, making it a classic choice for fondues, quiches and gratins.

5:42 I think Red would score 8 points instead of 5. You should count the shelves on the left towards how many shelves you occupy, because having 6 shelves for 20 pts wouldn't make sense only scoring the shelves on the right.

French people do not eat the cheese rind of Camembert or so. But sure you can eat it. For many hard cheeses you take it away except of the ones with special rubs like flowers or so. Then you eat it too. Looking forward to playing fromage. Just ordered it.

Wisconsin is also famous for squeaky cheese curds.

The rinds of most cheeses are kind of bitter, so I don't eat them. But thank you for this explanation! I've been playing this on BGA and the Ville kept confusing the heck out of me. I never caught that it had something to do with the "customers" listed for each section. Hopefully I won't completely lose my next game now!

Looks like an interesting take on the minigames euro style. How does it compare to games like Gugong or Trajan, I wonder?

My favourite cheese is Halloumi. :)

The rules clearly says you CAN use the bonus chees to complete orders. You must be wrong here.

How did you get 14 points in Festival? It's 8 adjacent tents so 20 points, no?
PS The fruit part threw me a bit because we get strawberry pieces and the 1st cost is a cut strawberry but we can move any fruit piece to either strawberry or jam equally(?)
PS Quand recevons-nous les instructions en français ? ;)
