Convert a .csv file to .geojson

If you receive someone else's waypoints in a .csv file, it is best to import them into Australian Geology Travel Maps as a .geojson file. This will form a new data layer with the name that you choose.

This video shows how to create a .geojson file. The process is also applicable to converting a 'shape' file, but for step 1, simply right-click the .shp file, and open with QGIS. Then follow step 2 & 3.
