Combine Race to the End of Wheat harvest | Gleaner vs Claas

Today is the day we have been looking for. It’s the end of wheat harvest. We even had a little combine race between the Claas Lexion and the Gleaner s97. Overall we had a very successful wheat harvest but now we need to finish up our double crop soybeans.

it's been 35 years since I last walked across a wheat field to ride in the combine with my dad. Seeing your son walk across the field brought all the smells and memories flooding back. I can still smell the straw + diesel + hydraulic fluid smell of the combine and feel the scratchy dust on my neck. ha! Miss it every day.

A good way to get your kids food is to tell them that you’re going to make sure that it’s not poisoned. This especially works during Halloween when you’re collecting a lot of candy and if your son has friends to go with him. It takes a while for them to catch on but by that time, you’ve eaten a lot of good stuff.
