Fun Fact: The Mirage reportedly has film of the incident but it has never been released.

Mantacore died in 2014 aged around 17…a pretty good run for a tiger…

Roy Horn slowly regained the ability to walk and speak and was able to give a limited final performance in 2009. He died after contracting Covid in April 2020 aged 75.

The incident prompted the Mirage to close the show, which had 267 cast and crew members and was making Siegfried & Roy around $60 million per year at that point.

I believe Roy had a stroke if you look at Roy pictures the one with him and Siegfied with the white lion between them look at Roy face is drup and his eye is slightly close that is a stroke I know I had a micro stroke Roy had high blood pressure if you forget to take your medication you are likely to have a stroke in his busy schedule he must have forgotten I hope they are resting in peace I miss them so much 😢they were the best

It sounds like their story might be right.. if the tiger didn’t kill him he might’ve really been trying to help him. Tried to drag him to safety how they would do another tiger but HE’S HUMAN! So it actually hurt him. That tiger could’ve tore his head if it was an actual attack. And it seems like he had well over enough time to do so.
