One of the greatest informative videos about the new ARM chip laptops, especially for people torn between getting the Lenovo vs the Samsung ARM PCs, thank you very much

Outside of the driver issues, especially with old printers, it is excellent for data analysts. Python, R, MySQL, and Power BI work on Snapdragon X Elite laptops. Also, VS code and VS Community IDE. Mix it with excellent CPU speeds and great RAM speeds (8448 Mhz/s), and reports are getting done exceptionally fast.

Getting a battery life around 13 hours+ is amazing for a PC. Looks beautiful and Snapdragon chip is living up to the expectations on battery life. Can't wait to get one of these snapdragon based PC.

The xps 13 also has a haptic touchpad. I’ve tried it, it’s pretty good.

Nice review. I went with the Microsoft Laptop 7 in 13.8" format. Also chose the low end SnapDragon Plus over the elite. Saved a lot of money. I intended this only for general productivity work and consuming media. So far, no regrets at all. Everything that I need to work does work. Mostly, I just wanted the longer battery life. The system delivers on that and the performance is highly acceptable. I"ll wait until one of the big vendors releases a 2-in-1 before buying an elite model. Yes, I know the Microsoft Pro 11 meets that spec... sort of, but I want a clamshell style 2-in-1, so will wait on that.

I have it and honestly the only reason I’m going to return it is because of the trackpad. I do estimates on the go and I click a lot more than I thought that it bothers me so much coming from a MacBook Pro m2

There are still a lot of issues with 3rd party software and devices on X-Elite laptops. The only advantage is battery life, which is much less important than software/device compatibility. The price is also too high comparing to x86. For $1100-1300 price range, there are some X86 laptops with similar battery life (12 hours) and performance.

I specifically didn't buy this laptop because it didn't have a haptic trackpad. Otherwise I might have gotten it. Instead, I ordered a Huawei, which I understand is haptic. I'll find out soon. I'm a huge Lenovo fan. Their support is great and the computers are very good as well for Windows devices. I've been using X1's for years. Their keyboards are great. The Vantage software is very helpful.

"It's got this." "It's not working." "It's got that." "Nope, not working." LOL Thanks for the laughs!

I wanted to get it, but no haptic touchpad fucking sucks… Is really only surface having it..? You have a valid point about color, it‘s ridiculous that it‘s the only one available lol.

What's your take on the fact the Lenovo has a 78 SKU v. the Galaxy w the 80 SKU. I've seen performance around 25% lower for the 7X in certain benchmarks (no dual core boost on the 78), and people preferred the anti-reflective coating of the Galaxy. Also, I find the backlighting of the Lenovo too strong in all settings. Asking because I'm considering swapping my Lenovo Slim 7X for the Galaxy.
