using the Text to edit in premiere is so terrible, it leaves audible pops and cuts into the audio, i spent so much time trying to fix this, then i gave up and decided to just use glling, its sad that premiere can get their own software to be good

Even though I use DaVInci. However I still can understand premiere and translate it into DaVinci, and that's helpful :D (Thanks for thinking to start Resolve Basics)

I can't find the transform effect. I have a Transform folder and in it I see, Auto Reframe, Crop, Edge Feather, Horizontal Flip, Vertical Flip. I am using Pr Pro 2024. Which one of these is the one I am supposed to use for the 4th Trick?

That "alt" trick for J and L Cuts... (option on mac). I've been editing for 15 years... did not know that existed... time to start reclaiming my time....
