It doesn't matter who or what origin his father or mother were, his father may very well be of Vlach origin. What matter is that Janos Hunyadi thought of himself as a Hungarian patriot and noble man, and he served the Hungarian crown. And from these virtues, he was and still is a true Hungarian hero. And the same time he can be a Romanian hero too if you like. We don't mind. We have other heroes whom we also have to share with other nations. Miklos Zrinyi or Nikola Zrinski if you like. It’s OK. Zrinyi was also a great Hungarian patriot, who was proud of his Croatian origin at the same time. Let's not argue about who or what they were. We all can agree that Hunyadi was a great warrior and a true hero.

Although many nations claim Hunyadi as their own, judging by the comments, once the series reaches a wider audience worldwide, people will know him as a Hungarian hero, and that will be a fact, like it or not
