New MCSE Certifications for Windows Server 2012

The old MCSE did not concentrated in a specific MS Server version. As the time passed it was moved to cover the objectives of the current Win Server version on the market, and it was valid two technologies back.

In the matter of the MCITP vs MCSE, if you were pursuing the MCITP it means that you are a MCTS on server 2008. So you could take the 70-417 exam (which would upgrade your MCSA on server 2008 to 2012) and continue on with the two required exams to be MCSE on Server Infrastructure.

That way you will be acquiring the MCSE for Server 2012 which would be at the same level of the old MCITP certification, but you will be a step ahead by being certified at the latest version of the MS Windows Server technology, and real world oriented objectives.

Learning this just threw a monkey wrench to my whole game plan in acquiring my MCITP certification. Should I put that certification to the side and concentrate on MCSE since cloud computing is on the rise? I was told that MCITP concentrated on MS 2008 servers while the MCSE of the past concentrated on Server 2003. Now am a bit confused. Help and suggestions would be nice.

Is MCITP certification expiring in july 2013. Is it better do the course after July 2013 ? please tell and new certification laaunches by Microsoft in Windows.?

Hey guy's, im looking into the new MCSE Private Cloud certification.However the pre-requisite is the MCSA Windows Server 2008 ?? I would rather do the latest version so my question being could i do the MCSA in Windows Server 2012 as a starting point then do exams 246 and 247 to upgrade the MCSA to a MCSE in Private Cloud ?? PS i cant find any books on Windows Server 2012 as yet ? can anybody point me in the right direction ?
