I swear I’m the only person i know that thinks like this. My friends and family think I’m nuts. I give up trying to warn them.

I am prepping for my whole family. Not one of them believes what I tell them. Doesn’t matter. I know they will be grateful when that time comes.

Unfortunately this is only the start of the shortages

Hi Jinnie! I’m in a semi-rural area. We’re definitely seeing less on the shelves. People continue to look at me like I’m nuts when I grab flats of canned goods. I just smile and say “that’s a great deal.” Like you, I don’t wipe out the shelves. I get a reasonable amount and leave plenty for others. Take care!

As a cattle farmer, I would love to sell to local people. It would be awesome to butcher steers up with the help of the people wanting them.

Started prepping about 6yrs ago...really started stock piling 2yrs ago.
Turned our guest bedroom into a mini "grocery" store. Husband used to laugh at me..now he supports me. Wish I could get my older kids to WAKE up and at least HELP a little with the preps
Keep up the great work..and hopefully one day soon everyone else will wake up and realize us preppers are NOT Crazy

Garage sale haul today lol : 2 sleeping bags $8, 2 copper skillets $4, fishing gear $15, name brand hoodies and shirts 25 cents each, aqua McCoy vase $3, bird feeder and old tin 50 cents. Picked up water and peanut butter for grandchildren's preps (a couple of picky eaters). Thanks. Psalm 91 over all.

Here in Georgia, prices going up, packages are getting smaller, less of a selection at the stores. Fortunately I woke up a year and a half ago and started stocking up. I have approximately 2 years supply for my extended family of 8, and still adding to it. God Bless you all. Get what you can while it is available.

Hey, Jenny. You can always put that ham in the bean soup! And as a bonus, those beans can be planted in a garden.

People truly have no idea and that scares me too. They must not listen to anything all day long lol. We hosted my stepdaughters grad party yesterday. Some were seeing our new home for the 1st time and my husband took the opportunity to do a pantry tour and show how we have stocked up and continue to stock up to bring more awareness. So many of our family and friends are completely unaware and shocked that we have the amount of food that we do. After talking about the empty shelves, trucking limitations, etc, it started to sink in a little. Of course they did not see the cubby space below my pantry (climate controlled) where we also have at least 3 dozen or more 5 gallon buckets of long term storage food and my thrive life foods etc. Food shortages is a real problem we will soon be facing

Both Kroger and Walmart shelves in the pet aisles were bare. Please remember your pets with your preps.
Low quantity of soups, lunch meat, and frozen foods too

Were in a small town in Iowa and stores in the area are stocked full. No shortages here but we're quietly prepping stocking and stacking.

I talked to a friend yesterday in Oregon on the Coast. She said the store shelves had huge holes. The clerk checking her out said there was food in the back. No one to stock it. She said they were working with less than half their normal help. Everyone is still collecting their unemployment. I’m in Georgia... the governor stopped the extra payments and the shortages here? No food being trucked in. It’s all going to Atlanta. Scary times, but we can be prepared! I’m stocking for me, and the kids as well. We’re all doing what we can. We survived last year snd Covid, we can do this! I’m new to your channel and I love it!!❤️

Hi Jinne, great post. Everytime I watch prepper videos I always spot something I missed. Believe it or not I keep a notebook right next to my computer. My husband always says watch out she going for the BOOK!! I really appreciate all of the work you put into your videos for us. THUMBS UP THERE AND HERE!

I'm in a large city and so far not noticing any shortages. I was in Dollar Tree today and it was fully loaded as far as I could tell. I even found Almond Milk which they normally don't have I bought 4 boxes exp date in 2022. I've been doing a lot of studying on Zero Waste and one thing I am trying is doing away with liquid dish soap (plastic) so I thought I'd try powdered dish soap which unless you want to buy from a fancy online place I could not find but thought if Dollar Tree has powdered dishwasher soap I'm going to give it a try and I did find a box there (card board which is recyclable). I hand wash my dishes and gave it a try.. while I did not get suds I did get clean dishes. I'll be watching to see how long this box last me if it goes for a month or longer at a $1.00 a box I will save money and help the earth. Saving money is a key factor. I did buy a pair of rubber dish gloves just in case it would cause skin irritation. I also learned to make my own toothpaste 4 ingredients: Eucalyptus and Peppermint Essential Oil, Arrowroot powder and Coconut Oil. Toothpaste was a little hard to find during the panic buying craze in our brand so I now can make my own and not be dependent on the stores and it is Zero Waste item no plastics. I am not at dismissing shortages I'm sure we'll see more of it as time goes by and I'm still stocking and looking at alternative menu plans for that time. I canned 15 pints of peaches this week, cooked 20 pounds of chicken which I will Can this coming week (it's in the freezer for now) and plan to buy 20 more pounds this coming week. Anna In Ohio.

For soups don't forget about chicken carcasses. If you have a roast chicken, keep back the carcass, tie it up in muslin and drop it in with your beans or whatever you are using. The muslin stops all those tiny bones getting into the soup, but lets the flavour in.
