I hit the jackpot at Aldi's yesterday, got 9 packs if Organic chicken a mix of thin sliced, tenders, tenderloins, and boneless skinless thighs for 50% off. I spent 22 dollars and vacuum packed them up!!

If you have Amish communities close to your areas, and they have grocery stores they have the best deals and they’re open to the public.
I bought 10#’s of King Arthur flour for $5 and change

I'm seeing a potential longshoreman strike for ports on the east coast through Texas. I believe that the ILA contract ends at the end of September. This is another good reason to stock up on items that are imported.

Great video. I am with you, I love Sam's! You are right.TP, trash bags, paper towels, and coffee will pay for your membership quick. It is so worth it. Thank you Danno. You are a great caring person.
Blessings to you and Jess.❤

Houston Texas has plenty of rice in the stores. In Texas we have H-E-B and they are almost always well stocked.

Joanne here from Ontario . Great video. I watch your videos all the time . Canada is expensive. Dave and I used to cross the boarder for groceries, but its cost the same now. Stock up while you can people. Harder times ahead!

Walmart in Stanford Kentucky will not be restocking bulk items! They want you to buy smaller quantities!
I picked up a 20 lb bag of rice for a little over $10 on clearance!!

I just shopped at Safeway yesterday. My bill was $94.00. I also saved $59.00 in coupon savings. I only buy things that are on sale and only things that we use. Nothing frivolous!

My friends just came back from Thailand and there are no food shortages there. No rice shortages. No fruit or veggie shortages, no meat shortages.

Last month I bought several packs of canning jars in assorted sizes when Walmart had them on rollback. All of my pastas, beans, jello packets and what not will go in them this year. The dry goods weren't as fresh as they could have been when we got to the end of the pantry in the spring. I have some jars filled with pastas and beans already, they're easy to store and I can see just what I have at a glance. Much better storage system than stacking the bags and boxes. The jars are an investment but they will be used indefinitely.
Eta: When putting jello packets in jars, be sure to note the flavor on the packet when removing it from the box. I now have a jar of mystery flavors. 🙃

We have been a Sams club member for about 35 years. Membership is worth it.

Most do not realize that inflation is now locked in forever from the new inflated base prices. 2% food inflation is now really 5% inflation in many cases. Make sense?

I love Costco because I can buy paper products in bulk cheaply, which make my membership worth while, plus the store is very close to my home. It is closer than Sam's Club, so I can purchase gas at Costco as well.

I was at Beckley, WV Walmart today. The power went briefly and then I went to check out and was told it would be 45 min. to an hour before the registers were reset and able to scan.

Winter is coming...ALWAYS! I started to go through a checkout at Walmart, and saw a sign saying, 'Card Only.' So I found a different lane. The very next day, my husband went into the same store, and found out it was 'Card Only, ' when he got to the register--too late. And the cashier said there was a sign on the entrance doors? Anyone else having this problem? We're in west central Ohio, and we like our privacy, thank you very much!

Western Kentucky update. Did a pickup at Kroger on Tuesday. Using the digital coupons and weekly sales my $107 mostly meat order ended up costing me $58! Got large packages of chicken tenders, ground beef, and bacon. There are a lot of buy one get one free options this week. Good deals can still be found
