All 3 panelists have vested interests in keeping folks invested in their funds because that's how they make a living. Yes, long term thinking makes sense but the 2-5 yr horizon Karen mentioned is not that. Also, Sarah's too optimistic in saying all the news is now baked into prices already. As Consuelo said at the beginning of this segment, some of the big picture trends take decades to complete even a single cycle. People may be in for more pain than they imagine since the Fed put that started w/ Greenspan is now hamstrung by inflation not seen since the 1970's.

The bond investor (Karen Choi) said it’s attractive to buy corporate bond at yield 5% ?! When inflation is 8%, in a rising interest rate environment? Guaranteed to lose on principle and real yield, just because compared to two years ago it’s better. Two years ago inflation rate was not at 8%….
