Cant find the shimmer in Terraria? Try THIS

After spending literal hours trying to find the shimmer in my terraria world, my chat gave me some very helpful tips to find it. The legends in my tiktok chat told me to basically go to the beach shoreline and dig down and it actually worked! I hope this video can help some people find the shimmer in the new aether biome in terraria!

I just wanna make it clear, I'm not an expert on the shimmer in terraria. I literally couldn't even find it myself until people in my chat helped me lmao. This video is just a little method that has worked for me a few times but it isn't 100 percent guaranteed to work. If you have other questions about the shimmer that weren't answered in the video, I'd really recommend going to the terraria wiki because that will be more helpful than me.

It spawns anywhere within like 100 blocks on the same side as jungle at the ocean

I dug down at the shoreline on tje jungle side (right for me) just dug down through jungle and into the underworld. And yes its a 1.4.4 world. It wasn’t there

i have a bit of a question, the size of the world, a map location of the place where u exactly were or some deeper explantion as ive looking from top to bottom of the beach and found nothing i even went so far as making it to HELL and yes i went left and right through out the cavern layers etc. if u could explain why im not finding ANYTHING that'd be great.
