So I work at a local library. What I learned is that 1/2 of the children books are alright. 1/4 were just bad, and 1/4 of them were very woke. There was a literal children's book called "If You Are a Drag Queen and You Know It...". There were actually two flipping copies of that book.

I had one trans person I was dating literally ask me the question, "so, if you've had a history of dating trans people, then you can't be transphobic, can you?"
This was after I started talking about chromosomes and stuff like that.
I was shocked.
But then I told him, "no. That's not how it works. Besides, anyone who wants to call me a transphobe because I follow the science, that sounds like a THEM problem to me, and I'm not gonna make it my issue.
