A quick tip when it comes to these “ride challenges”… Pair them with the “stay within area” filter. This allows you to complete lots of shorter rides, completing the challenge in a decent amount of time. Lots of these ride challenges has you doing a pretty large number of rides, with the filter it keeps you from reaching your goal without having to pull a full 12 hour shift. This, of course, depends on which “tier” of the three available ride challenges you accept. Driving in large, busy cities also helps.

Everyone needs to realize the bonuses and quest are coming out of our cut. That's why we get less fare and if we don't fulfill the challenge we lose more money. We fund our own bonus and both company should be in huge trouble for this and be required to reimburse drivers all the extra money they've stolen from us.

The one thing you haven't mentioned is that lyft desperation is showing. This only means that since upfront pricing, drivers are accepting less profitable rides. This is just to get all their drivers rates up, and many more happy passengers.

I am in your market and have been driving for about seven years on and off. I got the same thing you got without any notice, which is highly irritating. For me, I never received the weekend bonus tiers. I drive for a lift about ninety percent of the time and their bonus schedule has been coming more and more like game level up Right now you have to work between forty and eighty hours a week to get these bonuses. These three zone streaks are never convenient because I live on the south side of town, and i'm not gonna drive to brooklyn park for a 6 dollar bonus.

I get them once in awhile in LA I don't have a tier to choose from and the more I do them the less they pay for the same amount of rides from the previous week's. I usually get them done in 2 days with USC students writing for free average about 40 rides a night from 8:30 to 2 a.m. which is the cutoff. Also sometimes you get a Friday to Sunday challenge just like how Uber do their challenges.

I dont have the option to choose...this is how LYFT is Lowering YOUR PAY...
When Lyft started them they stated "You will be paid less per ride but get a bonus>
I tried to OPT OUT...I CAN'T My PAY has literally been cut in 1/2...
I made $1000+ per week now I cant top 6-700...it's a SCAM it's NOT A GOOD THING!

I'm in the Vegas market and I've been getting them for the last month, but have not been able to complete them, because so much has been going on in my life that I haven't had time.

I think when you accept the challenges, the AI pays you less per trip. I know the streaks tends to find a trip you would reject for trip #w or #3 if you do too many. It is ridiculous that the streaks can’t send you 20 or 30 miles out of your home area. Last week I was going to be able to do 2 streaks within a hour and some how it found a trip over 30 minutes, and I had completed two short trips previously.

It is all a game. Do 60 trips in 4 weekdays in my area seems like 4 very long days for almost $3 extra per trip. And the trips are probably priced down $1 or more each because you signed up for the challenge. It has already been proven the AI is offering the same trips at different prices to drivers. Is the extra gas, wear and tear to your vehicle, and wear and tear on your body worth $175. And I use to do the weekend challenges without signing up and felt the rides seemed to pay less. That is why you have to look at mileage, time, and destination for a trip to determine if it is worth it.

In my area lyft challenges have a 10 min wait time between trips when Uber have a 30 second wait time between trips. Lyft had 1 for 330$ for 100 trips. My slow area it was impossible 😂😂

I don't get to choose in my market. I have a 135$ challenge. That's is. It's a 40, 10, 10 ride challenge, 60$, 30$, 45$ respectively.

I saw this last week in the app. Now it's no longer there. I'm guessing that lyft took it down. There's no way in the world is it possible to do 135 rides by Friday at 5 am for 355.00. And they know that too

Ive been driving in the twin cities exclusively for Lyft for over a year… i did not get that at all, I got an offer to get 50% increase for bonus areas after getting 60 rides a week, and 100% bonus increase for doing 80 rides … its been a good week although its not over but I’m at 1200… doing Lyft basic and once in a while ill get a preferred which goes away in July …. What area of the cities are you in…. Watching your videos i assume north metro area..

Last week I had 15 dollars bonus for 35 rides on the weekends. You know with so much money, I had to take it. I'm actually texting you from Greece as that bonus allowed me so much time vacation. HOORAY! Go lyft Go! Goooofoff

At least you guys get the section as an option. They didn’t give it to me even though Im gold tier with Lyft all 5 stars. Sucks. Lyft support didn’t even tell me how I can gain access.

I really think that they cap drivers rides when drivers are trying to reach a certain number of rides a day so that in the final day of the challenge the bonus cannot be reached... I was trying to do a 125 ride challenge in 4 days which would equate 31.x rides a day so I figured that I would try and reach 32 or more rides at any given day because the more you do one day, the less would be required the following day... Do you know that 4 days in a row I did 30 rides a day... And the only reason why I could not do more is because they shut the app off after 12hrs of online time 😡 coincidence much?

I get the three tiers and select the top one yet when time comes it defaults me to the middle one. I even verified three times this week prior to the deadline. Lyft here are typically 3 to 4 dollar rides and not worth it without the challenge and only 5% here actually tip

Lyft hasn’t offered me a challenge in a long time, but this new system sucks. I liked that Lyft offered those without having to select your level. My plans for the week can change at a moments notice and having to pick one in advance means either I won’t have the time to get a higher one or I’ll have more time than planned so I could have gotten more than I thought
