Having had several stays in hospital and needing constant visits, I can say that nurses deserve every penny they get! Some of what they have to pit up with is unbelievable!

Overwhelmingly farmers chose Brexit over EU grants. They want you to forget this. This wouldn't have ever been an issue if they had not voted Brexit. And before I get replies saying not all farmers did. Well that's the same as 48% of the general population who too have had adverse effects due to Brexit forced upon us.

Of you can't keep a business open without not paying taxes or exploiting workers, you should NOT be in business. Pull yourself by your bootstraps, and go work for a warehouse or something. Maybe food delivery. I hear its amazing work.

I was with him until he claimed that a GP surgery only needs 2 nurses. He clearly has no concept whatsoever of what Community Nurses and Practice Nurses do.

If they only have 2 Nurses, who is going to provide all the Community Care? Who is going to provide wound care for patients? Who is going to provide diabetes care for patients? Who is going to provide catheter care for patients?

There are quite simply not enough Nurses in the NHS, across the board.

It seems to me that anything to do with owning land is given special privileges, probably because the people who are usually in charge are landowners.

The whole reason why Jeremy Clarkson bought a farm was not not pay tax on the land after he dies. Now he has to. I think the next season of "Clarkson's Farm" will be the last.

Reminder that Farmers voted overwhelmingly in favour of Brexit, opting to lose around £80k a year in EU farming grants. Sorry but no sympathy from me.

I was with the farmer until he criticised the nurse getting a £100k golden handshake on her retirement, you can't take that statement seriously from a person with a £3.5 million pound estate who doesn't want to pay any inheritance tax.

The last government promised the farmers that they'd replace the EU's £3.5 billion yearly subsidiary.
They didn't.
Farmers overwhelmingly voted for Brexit & for both the lies.
Sorry to then say that you're now £3.5 billion pounds worse off.

A small channel called Farming Explained did a video about the budget and I think we certainly could do with a bit more informed conversation around the agricultural inheritance tax.
One important aspect it highlighted to me was that farmers can be land-rich but cash-poor, and yet the tax is paid in cash, meaning they'll have to sell land which no doubt would just be rented back to them.
