What he was supporting was the opportunity to reduce British workers' rights, pay and conditions. Also, the health and safety regulations. That was all that mattered to him, the chance to exploit workers to make even more money. He ignored the obvious consequences because of personal greed. That was the position of most British business leaders, the reality is that most of them aren't really that clever. Just over privileged and blinkered.

I am a Pole living in the UK for 16 years - 4 weeks ago I heard from one guy - "you Poles are no longer welcome in England - you should leave", from 3 months ago another shouted "I wont my country back - you take jobs from the British "- I work as a bus driver in London, each depot lacks at least 30 drivers, but apparently according to some I am not welcome - Brexit and the Brexit campaign taught these people to behave like this.

His board should vote him out. Imagine being this incompetent - supporting something that every expert and economist said would harm the UK economy, then whining that 'it's not the Brexit we voted for'. No, you voted to give charlatans more power to ruin the country, and that's what you got. You don't get to complain if you're part of the problem.

As a 75 year old living in Canada it was obvious to me that BREXIT was going to be a disaster long before the vote took place. I was stunned when the vote went the way it did. I do not understand that people did not see this coming.

I live in Tasmania. This week we hosted a young English couple, both qualified nurses. They were waiting for their house here to become available. They are thrilled to have received a 5-year residency permit. Your loss. Our gain.

Same as it always was. My father tells the anecdote of a business owner at the height of the miners strikes. He was fully behind Maggie and thought she needed to bring the "militant" unions to heel, his business to make and maintain mining lamps. Flash forward to his dejection when the envevitable consequences of his actions resulted in him being personally put out of business. Tories have always been in the business of convincing people to vote against there own interest and always will be.

One of the best things to come of Brexit is how it's shown up so many "elite" business men and women to be the frauds that they are. And yet there are still people who seem to assume that somebody with a large amount of wealth/power is can only be there via merit rather than inheritance or gaming the system
