My grandma couldn’t afford Barbie’s her childhood, so she became a Barbie collector late in her life. We used to sit around and dress up the Barbie’s. So much fun!❤

So excited to watch this. I work with pre-teens at work and today I showed them my love of Barbie’s and used my childhood shrinky-dink maker. Btw I had almost all of those 90s dolls, I loved the Kelly with the sippy cup.

My mom started my sister and I's babrie collection and watching you open these made me so happy and yet sad because we ended up losing all of ours in a really bad moving situation. I had a majority of the ones you opened including the whole Wizard of Oz collection! (It was my favorite movie growing up!) I miss childhood! Lol

That barbie case is a treasure! The doll wouldn't have come with all of that. It was someone's personal little collection! So amazing. Those cases are hard to find in such great condition and for it to be so full! That little 60s striped top. I gasped !

I still have the 90’s Kelly and the high chair, my daughter plays with them now, what a flash back seeing her OG outfit and box 😂❤

I have a really old barbie. It use to be my sister and it was passed to me. Her bathing suit is like the OG one you have but it was sparkly gold and white. She didn't have attached hair; she wore wigs. She had a red haired wig, A blonde, and a burnet. The suit also came with a funny looking bathing cap.

All my Barbie dolls (and toys from my childhood) are gone now, either thrown out or given away. Now with this new Barbie movie out and all these videos I'm seeing of Barbie doll unboxings, I think I'm gonna go ahead and start collecting and maybe even re-buying some toys I've either always wanted or I'd owned before and I've lost. I think when I lost those dolls, a part of me has been lost ever since. The one Barbie I will always remember is that one fairy twirler Barbie where you pull a string and she flies.
Also, I vividly remember having that Rapunzel Barbie and loving the heck out of it :)

They are so pretty. I'm 52 at the end of this year and never owned a Barbie. When I was young, money was tight, and my Mum was a single Mum doing her best to bring up my brother and I. Paying off a house and bringing up 2 kids on a single parents pension was quite a feat. She was considered legally blind even though she could still make out shapes and could see enough to still be able to go shopping until I got old enough to take over at 6. I had 3 dolls when I was little, and I still have those 3 dolls. Never a Barbie, though they were just too expensive.

My sisters had the full collection and I remember distinctly playing with the dolls and sometimes me and my other sister would search up the script to the movie and reenact the whole movie. That was like 2010-2012 so they kept those dolls in amazing condition and now my nieces play with them!

The My Scene line was actually owned by Mattel. They were competing with Bratz dolls at the time.
