Rumi says; I looked to smallest things they are whirling and praying and I looked to biggest things (galaxies, stars, planets)  they are whirling and praying to our Creator. I just joined  them.

As a Christian disciple of Jesus of Nazareth I must say that this form of worship is very beautiful. Here is peace and beauty unlike other expressions of the Islamic faith. Orthodox Muslims consider them heretics but I think they capture a beautiful aspect of universal spirituality. We all can learn a great deal from these dedicated persons besides just whirling and dancing. Salaam, Shalom, Paix, Peace.

can`t help but smile a little. it is a weird dance but fascinating at the same time. amazing how they don`t get dizzy. i guess it takes a lot of practice and discipline to dance like that. first time seeing this.
