Asus Zenbook S 16 (2024) - AMD AI 9 is actually perfect for this!

This is the first ever AMD AI 9 365 Laptop in the market. The ASUS Zenbook S16! It features either the AMD AI 9 HX 370 or AMD AI 9 365 which is what I've been using for the past month and some change. How is AMD's newest mobile processor? Is it enough to compete with Apple's M series, or Qualcomm's Snapdragon chip, or is it toe to toe with Intel's Core Ultra series chips? The Zenbook S 16 I'm reviewing has 24GB of RAM at 7500MHz, 1TB of SSD, Wi-Fi 7, and a beautiful 16" 120Hz variable refresh rate OLED display. Is this worth the $1399 price tag?

i does get hot the way it comes out of the box, i turned performance to energy eff and gpu to the lowest setting and it still runs games well and much cooler. way better than the junk snapdragon i had to return cause it didnt run Vonage biz

I had one for a few days sent it back for warranty. Random reboots, blackscreen freezes and at times random backlight blinking. Had quite the beta-tester feel.

Hi, what about noise ? I really like this unit but I am don't wanna anything noisy. I am using ubuntu, light work. No compiling or so. Just office work and web browser. Will this unit gonna be silent ?

This computer is very unstable...the processor is not as I expected, and the screen keeps bought the zenbook 2024 model, It was fauly, I returned it and got a second one. It is faulty too....Please viewers don't rush to buy....wait until they produce more stable ones.

I am torn between the Zenbook S16 and the Zephyrus G16 with the AI 9 370 chip. Which one would you recommend?

The S16 (32gb) costs 2099€ here and the G16(16GB, RTX4060) cost 2299€.

Is the RTX4060 with 16GB still better than the S16?
