Add base maps with QuickMapServices plugin in QGIS

It's often useful to be able to add base maps to QGIS projects. There are many different ways this can be done (e.g. via the XYZ Layers section of the Browser Panel) but QuickMapServices is an extremely useful free plugin for this.
