Thankful for this video that helped confirm my concern that my baby was in distress. For those wondering what to do, go straight to the ER. First we had called our pediatrician to make an appointment since she still seemed to have color. As we were driving, we saw that our child was getting pale and losing color in her lips, so we called back and they advised us to go
to the ER. (Urgent Care would’ve been a waste of time because they send babies to the ER for emergencies anyway.) At the ER our baby was examined and her oxygen levels were tested; she was at 80%. They did nebulizer treatments with oxygen to help bring her levels up. It could’ve been caused by a number of sicknesses (RSV, Covid, etc), but in our case she was diagnosed with bronchiolitis. She needed to be admitted to the hospital for further treatment. I hope this helps anyone who is concerned for their child’s breathing. When in doubt, always follow your gut and take them in!
