Drill Press Table Part 1

Great build video Kenny, i was watching your Tuesday video the other day about your new drill press, and you obviously were talking about the drill press, when you also said about the table as well. That's were i was thinking 'hang on, have i missed a video i don't remember that table build?' now i know why as it's here now, thought i was losing it again ha ha ha.
Great part 1 looking forward to part 2 now and making that fence.

Kenny, say “drill press post” three times real fast... I really like your design for the drill press table. Good idea using the threaded inserts and I like the addition of the plywood pieces in the webs instead of just using a washer. I am really looking forward to the show next week to see the next part.

Good headsup regarding the Kenny, you've had this table for a while now. Anything you'd do different? Do the inner T tracks Check every box? As I'm sure you know, some designs(Woodsmith for one), call for an open slot that you can put a clamp through. Some put a T track perpendicular to the ones for the fence. I know you think inserts are unnecessary, but I'm leaning toward one. Thanks in advance, Mark

Hi, I noticed that your router table has a lot of dust problems when I built mine I had the same problem but I solved it in one go by drilling a one-inch hole just passed the plate and put a hose on that. Now when I route the dust gets sucked down and when the piece of wood covers the hole, the extraction is even better.

nice table, i dont think it matters if its square or centered on the table, i actually like it off set so the table height knob is canted away from the table so i dont bang my knuckles lol.
