Glad to be outa there. Whew. What a nightmare. So at a time when public gushing about William & Kate came to an abrupt halt because Osama bin Laden was killed it seems appropriate to spend a little time on our personal security.

DANIELLE

Sexual violation is one of the worst violations a person can experience. It's insidious and cuts to the quick of a person's very being. So when TSA is working to keep me safe from people wanting to hurt me by exploding planes or in some other terrorist way, they should be able to do it without violating me sexually.

DANIELLE

TSA's response to Susie Castillo by simply issuing a statement that Dr. Drew read on CNN that the officer "followed proper procedures" that they greatly appreciate my understanding as they move toward a more "risk-based, intelligence-driven approach to security"

What does this mean? The biggest risk I face at Dulles Airport is, apparently, the violation of who I am as a woman. And, TSA thinks that's just okay with them! So, next time you want to enhance your brain at the Smithsonian, I recommend you take the train!
