Critical step at 2:12, I couldn’t get the new bulb to snap in like the video shows using fingers but thought it was inserted fully and put everything back together and all tested good.

Two days later driving, the blinker failed again, this time I used the edge of a hard tool to snap the bulb in place just like the video.

Problem solved and all good!

Great video! Not many people take the time to really show where handles are located, or where exactly to press on something. I hate to admit that I did not know you needed to press the bulb in that hard. Thanks for putting this together.

Always a good idea to put a bit of "Dielectric Grease" in the socket (any electrical connection) before reinserting the new bulb. This will help prevent corrosion as the vehicle "ages" and as connections are exposed to wet/damp conditions.
