Is dementia hereditary? And is there a way to prevent dementia? In this video, I discuss different risk factors that increase the risk of developing dementia and the role of genetic testing. People often worry about their genes, but forget that there are factors that might (even) play (a bigger) role in the development of the disease.

Take-home message: Stop worrying about your genes. Spend more time being mindful of living a healthy life.

My great grandma passed with dementia an my grandma is now 73 and just got it. real hard pill to swallow but as long as you have a loved one to take care of you in the end its better to have them around than for them to be gone <3
