The collapse of BC United

This week, BC United leader Kevin Falcon shocked the province by suspending the party’s campaign and endorsing the BC Conservatives. While the collapse of the party was likely caused by Falcon’s own actions, this move may stop the BC NDP from being re-elected in the next election.

“We’ll plant 2 billion trees over the next ten years. That’s it. That’s the tweet.” This is what Trudeau tweeted during the 2019 election. And surprise, surprise – the government isn’t anywhere close to fulfilling that promise.

Plus, does the Trudeau government want more people to smoke? It certainly seems that way after they banned nicotine pouches from convenience stores and gas stations across the country this week.

Liberals : Manitoba 4 of 14 seats, Saskatchewan 1 of 14 seats, Alberta 0 of 37 seats, British Columbia 3 of 43 seats
NDP : Manitoba 3 of 14 seats, Saskatchewan 0 of 14 seats, Alberta 1 of 37 seats, British Columbia 4 of 43 seats
Conservatives : Manitoba 7 of 14 seats, Saskatchewan 13 of 14 seats, Alberta 36 of 37 seats, British Columbia 35 of 43 seats.

So from Manitoba going west the Conservatives take 91 seats, the Liberals take 8 seats and the NDP take 8 seats. What do British Columbians think of this?

Sue-Ann is very right. I remember seeing an 18 or 19 year old young man. He was homeless with dirty clothes. I asked myself: if our social workers receive 80 K in salary, why is this God Blessed young man in this situation??!!

most entertaining part of the "coverage" on Global and CTV is the part where both organizations keep calling the BCunited/BCliberal party "right of center"... the cold hard truth is that the NDP is far left, the BCunited/BCliberal is, or at least has been center-left, and the BCconservative party is center-right... any coalition between the two parties of the center would be challenging to make work, as they are not similar at all, nor are they chasing the same demographic of the voting population... cheers!

I lived in Milo AB for many years and from Ontario. In the prairies in the grasslands, you will only find trees around pond where the birds poop. they bring tree seeds from the mountains or the far north where the trees are.

I'm 73. At age 4 I knew that smoking was bad for you. Fourteen yrs later I joined the smokers . Everybody knows the situation. I am tired of nanny states dictating what people can and cannot do, yet, smoking pot is fine? That can cause inactivity and in too many cases schizophrenia. Since JT is part of a European org that is antihuman, why worry if smokers die earlier? My own personal observation is that smokers or even former smokers in care homes don't get demented.
