A look back at the B.C. Social Credit Party’s collapse

In the wake of B.C. United's unravelling last week, the province is witnessing a political upheaval similar to the 1991 collapse of the B.C. Social Credit Party. Five years later, in the 1996 election, Social Credit would be on the fringes. To take a further look at the dissolution of the Socreds and how it reflects on what's happening today in the province's political landscape, we were joined by Justin Leifso, assistant professor of political science at the University of Victoria.
