Felix Rösch — Driven (Official Video)

As a musical director and composer for theater, I have to travel a lot. Ever since I became a father, these travels have become almost unbearable. ‘Driven’ is about the empty restlessness I felt while being away from the people I love — and it’s about these little moments of rest when returning home.

'Driven' is the second single for my new album 'Fragmente', my most ambitious release to date: 17 tracks, 51+ minutes of music. Recorded with lots of great musicians from Berlin and beyond.

The album takes a very personal and fragile look at all the little things that helped me come out of my corona-infused burnout/depression in 2021 — It’s about all these little moments that helped me get out of one of the darkest times in my life: Singing my little daughter to sleep or rescuing an old bee with her on the playground, taking a walk with my girlfriend, talking to a good friend or simply playing the cello or the piano for hours — every piece is dedicated to one of these moments.
