WARNING: Incorrect GPIO layout - case is useless for HATs
Cooler Master ran a Kickstarter campaign to fund the development of this case. During reviews, it has been identified that the GPIO layout is reverted to a useless layout, which renders this case useless for attacking HATs (hardware attached at the top). Instead of taking the humble and honest road, Cooler Master downplayed this issue, saying that the backers (close to 5, 500 of them) misunderstood the case's design.

EDIT: After a lot of flak and negative PR, Cooler Master FINALLY caved-in and decided to do the right thing and refund backers for this fiasco. To me it was too little too late. I completely lost trust on a company that takes too long to acknowledge their wrongdoings.

the kickstarter thing is their marketing strategy. they're gonna launch it anyways.

I'm interested in the thermal performance. A functional design is secondary only!

Will this beat the thermal performance of FLIRC case?

I'm not sure I need this as I don't have a Pi 4, nor plan to get one.
But I want this. So that means I want a Pi 4.

I still did not receive the pi case 40 it should be shipped in September 2020 but it still did not ship, I tied to contact their suppoprt via multiple ways but still don't have an answer when they are going to ship.

Trouble is, they launched it in retail channels and Kickstarter backers haven't even received it yet. Plus the GPIO pins are flipped so you can't plug in things with a ribbon cable.

Cool that it will be open source. Issue is that I don't have a way to produce aluminium heatsinks.

But what i really want is the Cooler Master Control Pad to be for sale !!!
I couldn't join the Kickstarter back then, but then again i hear that the Netherlands still mostly doesn't have theirs yet even today, but i really want that product !!!
WHEN IS IT GOING TO BE FOR SALE IN THE NETHERLANDS OR ANYWHERE AT ALL FOR THAT MATTER !?!?!?
