IN THIS WEEKS VIDEO..
SO MANY ISSUES TO PUT RIGHT ON THIS JOB 😒 WE HAVE A POORLY FITTED RUSTING FLAT BAR POORLY INSTALLED, A SHOCKINGLY BAD BATHROOM VENT, PAINTED BRICKS AND A COMPLETELY GOBBED UP CAVITY.
WE GET OUR SCAFFOLD UP AND REMOVE 3 COURSES OF BRICK, USE OUR WET DRY VAC TO CLEAN UP THEN ITS IN WITH THE NEW ANGLE IRON, CAVITY INSULATION, CAVITY TRAY AND A LENGTH OF SOIL PIPE TO VENT THE FAN PROPERLY.
WE ALSO RE BUILD WITH MULCOL BRICKS AND PUT IN SOLDIERS WITH A TILE CREASE COURSE AT THE CUSTOMERS REQUEST WHICH LOOK FANTASTIC.
WE ARE SURE YOU WILL AGREE THAT ITS A MASSIVE IMPROVEMENT...ENJOY

Now that is a really neat job 👏👏👏

Very fiddly but you made it look easy. The end result looks very impressive.

Lovely job, a pleasure to watch all the detailing of the trays and sorting of the vent. The end result looked so much better than the horrible mess you started from.

Alex, you have to watch over your fathers safety, four bricks under the scaffolding legs for balance seems to me a bit dangerous. Be kind for him 👊and keep yourself safety as well 😎

Raised some steels on my own place and there was 9"+ of snots on top of the felt trays. Anyone who says they don't build them like they used to should be grateful.

I've got a challenge for you! I employed a company to take a supporting wall down and naturally put in an RSJ...the result is awful as they put (Guardian Structural) put an RSJ in that was totally inadequate. Their solution was to weld another support onto the main RSJ. Worst of all a company they (Guardian Structural) called in for building regs passed the inadequate support. I am suing them both but in the meantime I need to correct the mess before the upstairs cracks get worse. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.😊

impressive ! 👌

No bricky questions :
34:54 When filling in the gap above the lintel, is there a reason why you are using those tiles instead slate ?, and for the dry-packing are you using special mix mortar or just using same that the rest of the brickwork ?

thanks in advance 👍

It's amazing the amount of shit u find in the cavity I remember taking a door out for a extension and there was a bit of slate that fell and nearly sliced my hand open

You’ll be making a fortune in scrap from all those lintel jobs you’ve been doing lately 😂

The way that you have got your scaffolding set up with some bricks on the bottom is not very good. You could do with something better underneath them scaffolding that I have got I have got adjustable legs so you can set it up on angles or when there is steps, et cetera involved.
