Grad School Decisions Reaction | Applying for grad school with low GPA

Hi everyone, long time no see!! ❤️
I documented my reaction of grad school admission decisions. I have a horrible undergraduate GPA (not exaggerating). The application process is a long, slow journey for me and I'm thankful to see where I am today. For any of you with a bad GPA but thinking about applying for grad school, there's always hope! Wow! Congrats on NYU. I got into NYU for a graduate degree in 1983. My Dad had a BS and MA from Columbia, but, he did get into Harvard for graduate degree, we moved back to NY. I would go to NYU, but if you got into Columbia, go there.

i wanna ask that -
1-can you just suggest what's the main thing you wrote in your SOP and?
2- how you managed to get and LOR ?
3-and how much time you took to write SOP ?
4- how much time they took to provide an LOR?
5- what exams you have taken for The MS course?

Hello, may I ask what made your grad application stand out despite your low GPA. Are extracurricular activities ( volunteering/ leadership...) Important for grad application??
