This is our in depth review of the MoYu WeiLong GTS3 M, a new 3x3 with a wonderfully creative design. In addition to the outer ridges that aid with grip, the GTS3 comes with a spring compression gear system that allows for quick adjustments of spring elasticity on your cube. Definitely one of the most innovative and fun cubes recently released!

I think moyu made the gts3m specifically to Michal..

Why I say this is because in the world championship finals in 2017 Michal had lots of trouble gripping the cube.

I think this is overall a great review, but I have to say that the need to mention a 3x3's corner cutting in a review ended like two years ago. Also, it's really nice that your reviews contain multiple people stating their opinion on the puzzle.

I got my first sub-1 minute (45 seconds) average with this cube lol. I am a new cuber and it may not seem like much but my previous average was 1 minute and 17 sec. I have big hands and the ridges make me feel more secure holding the cube and make the cube feel bigger for my hands. Also from my previous cube (MoYu AoLong V2) the magnets are a huge plus. Maybe Pro cubers don't care about the ridges but they give me a sense of security and confidence of where my hands are placed. Not to mention I hate having to tension or adjust the cube so the fact that they made it easy for me, a beginner, to adjust the springs so easily is awesome!
(P.S I still use beginners method and have cubed for about a year that's why I refer to myself as a beginner if anyone was wondering)

the magnets seem to weak for my liking for the gts3 however i set my first sub 20 pb on it, i am satisfied with the cube (besides the magnet strength)

So for the LM version, are the magnets too weak to really complement the high speed turning of the GTS3? Or do the strong magnets feel suiting, but not necessarily that strong, which would mean the light magnets do more than fine too?

Can someone explain the difference b/w tightening the screw with the screwdriver and adjusting the spring tension with the ratchet tool? How to they each change the feel of the cube? Thanks.

I just ordered one, and I'm a beginner. Am I crazy? I just solved my first cube ever last night after watching a video. My goal is just to get sub 20sec solves eventually.
