I’m gonna be honest, I don’t think the Kayo nerfs made him that bad, he can still make plays alone if you know what you’re doing, his suppression is still busted, and his nade is still a good piece of utility. The only change was to his flashes, which were sizeable, but I don’t think they’re enough to knock him out of the meta completely.

I think the idea was that agents like Kayo and Skye were often better at being duelists than the duelists! So I think the nerds were designed to make them worse at being pseudo duelists, and better at being support agents.

I like how Riot is creating importance to pick a Duelist with these changes. Duelists are currently in bad state where teams don't pick them much and instead go with Hybrids whom can fill their role. Hope the main problem for Duelist, Chamber get's fixed soon and we'll be seeing Duelist Action again in Pro Play.

An interesting rework/buff I thought for Cypher was for his camera. You are very vulnerable when you use your camera. So what if, we reworked the way you open it?

You set up the camera the same way as before, however once set up you have 2 options (assuming your Camera ability is binded to E):

1- tapping E causes the camera to flash (not an actual flash bang, just to let enemies know it was activated). This flash highlights enemies in its LOS for a single, still frame (like his ultimate). Cooldown of about 3-5 seconds; prevents you from looking into the camera proper.

2- Holding E causes Cypher to look through his camera (like he does now). The Camera has a reduced range in which it can be spotted (like his tripwire, but not that close) while in use. Camera is fully visible for a few seconds after shooting a dart.

Love Cypher's kit, wanted to play more into his stealthy and intel gathering role. Cypher has a lot of ways to be played, and more options might allow him to stop pushes and hold sites better than he does now.

i didn’t realise fade was so powerful i just started playing valorant and she’s the agent i’ve been maining. i really like her kit and reynas as well.

what ive seen about neon is actually the fact that shes hard to play. I mean true yeah but still shes amazing for beginners in low elo bcuz the spray and pray for them.

I think kayo in D tier is a bit dramatic, a slightly shorter flash doesn’t change the fact that he’s extremely useful with the rest of his kit

How in the world can they justify buffing Reyna the low elo stomper and yet Cypher has yet to be buffed in like 2 years

Kayo is fine the only downside for him is that his multifrag potential is lower now, if there's an initiator that took an L is definitely Skye, I'm kinda sad about it she's probably my favorite character to play

i disagree with Viper and Fade. Viper should be A tier alongside Omen at most and Fade should be low S/high A tier. The thing about ranked is that ppl love to play duelists (and Chamber). Stats don't show everything. Ranked andys like flashy agents more which is why you'll always see Jetts, Neons and sulf sustainable agents which is why you'll see Reyna, Chamber. They think about what's best for themselves rather than the team. I always see ppl neglect initiators in ranked because of how team dependent they are and are just for setting up their team. I mean sure there are ppl who enjoy that but majority like to get on in the action themselves. Same goes for controllers but the only difference is smokes are a must which is why they're preferred over initiators despite being just as boring. That's also a reason why Viper wouldn't be so high up. Omen and even Brim are more fun than Viper. Viper forces you to hold and play passive which ofcourse is boring. Omen on the other hand because of his mobility is fun to play amd Brim because he's really reliable and somewhat fun to play with his stim. Fade only because of how she can make plays for herself can still retain that S tier spot otherwise when nerfs hit her she'll fall down the list like Sova did. This is just what i feel according to what I've experienced in my ranked games, it'll vary from different regions and elos

to be fair, I find cypher is good against lower level players as they don't break trips as much and dont know your setups
