Tip:

When the system asks for confirmation, like when you install new packages, at the end it says [Y/n].
Notice the Y is uppercase. That means that "yes" is the default option. You don't need to type "y" and Enter. You can just hit Enter ;)

I had tried elementary OS when it was version 0.2 and i didn't like it. When i happened to search youtube for elementary os fresh install your video was recommended. I finally got it installed and setup using your steps and its made my life so much easier. I really love it. I was a long time user of Ubuntu back in the day from Ubuntu 5.04 then i change to Linux Mint then went back to Windows 7 then to Windows 10 now i have a dual boot of windows 10 and elementary OS 5.1.4 but i use elementary Os 80% of the time now after getting most of the tools I use for work like Teamviewer, Anydesk working in elementary OS. Thanks for the great tips.. Kudos to you.

2:30 something about firefox that so many people don't know is that you can move the bookmarks bar besides the address bar and get rid of an entire bar that's wasting you space. Great video

I have been needing to do that sys tray setup in elementary forever! Those of us who need mozc and anthy to jump between IMEs to do Japanese, Korean and Chinese typing need that system tray icon to show what language we’re using!

this is BY FAR the VERY BEST kind of youtube video on Linux Distro.. you actually typed in some veryu useful commands that can be used by evberybody to set up elementary or some other distro also.. Like *Linux Lite* for me.. Could you please make a similar video on *Linux Lite* Please

Elementary OS is a nice and clean Desktop, I moved to Manjaro Cinnamon two years ago a friend of mine came up with DeLinuxCo recently, a tweaked Cinnamon Manjaro. I switched and like the semi-dark theme setup and how it has most tools for a workstation type environment. In my opinion, the biggest drawback to ElementaryOS is the fact it is based on Ubuntu, I just can't fathom how a distro is in control of application versions.
