This really is "not flying, but falling with style" in its most literal sense.

I think given 3 sets of accessories, you can cheese a little more out of this easily.
You don't need the ones for jumps while your not jumping, you don't need the carpet while jumping.
So balloons are in set 1, and carpet is in set 2
Puts a frog leg into set 1 to make all the jumps a little bit better.
I'd say also triple mount juggle, unicorn for the extra jump still is the start, but change to the tree for the glides.

Try adding the Magiluminescence
It increases acceleration, movement speed, and provides light.

If you're unmounted, and you use the slime mount immediately after you start any jump, you get a *lot* more height.

Jumping to Space, except Space Biome in terraria is rather small, unless you play Dontdigup seed where if you remove the evil biome instead of purity it counts as Space biome in terms of music

if you want to do this without going through and getting a ton of these accessories, just go grab an umbrella, a minecart and a few tracks
put the tracks in a ramp facing either side of your world, accelerate on the cart and hold the umbrella in mid air whilst in the cart still

with this you can fly across your world without any of the fancy explanation needed

If you are allowed to alter the world beforehand you could put sunflowers across the entire world for the movement speed buff.

Idea: start at the bottom of hell or at 0, and see what the max amount of height you can get is when you hit the edge of the world.

Not sure if this would help, but what if you used full crystal assassin armor to free up the accessory slot from tank and use it to put on a different accesory(like frog legs)
