If anyone's interested, the maximum jump distance for stage 1, where you were using blue ice and trapdoors, is almost 11 blocks. Using regular ice you can jump up to 10.825 blocks and adding blue ice will probably increase it to around 11.

Netherite armour actually has a 1+ knock back resistance, so if you just used diamonds, then you you might have gone further
