Nice, I've learned the secret now. I've been practicing my tricks only during the day when I should've been practicing day and night.

I love heelfips. Such a solid catch feeling.

I’m way more of a heelflipper, such a fun trick to have on lock

I'm 43 and could never land a heel flip. But now with YouTube how to vids and this one from Neen I'm gonna get it

For those that don’t know because it wasn’t explained in the video, the back foot is positioned like that so when you pop the board tilts slightly to that side making it easier to flip.
Do the opposite can help for kickflips as well. It’s especially good for fs flip if you don’t want the “hard flip” style fs flips.

That ending tip about using your pinky toe changed my life, starting to actually land heelflips and it feels good.

I learned heelflips before kickflips. Wish I still did them as much.

even though I'll never be able to heel flip like Neen, I found this very useful. looking forward to more of these How To's

The pinky toe trick is a nice one, and thats why Neen's heelflip's are so amazing. Best heelflips after Lindsey Roeberston's heelflips. But it's called a heelflip because you use your heel. You dont need to be a rocket scientist to get that.

I always had trouble with heel flips. It's like the board is to under me and I can't see it as well. Now I at least feel like I can do them - thanks Neen!

My key with this landing this was to A - only balance on the balls of my feet (the front part) and B - ignore the advice about hanging your toes off with the front foot position and C - Making sure your knees are decently bent and that your weight is ever so slightly leaning backwards (backwards as in to opposite side of the side of the board, not the nose/tail plane), and then of course making sure to actually start with a proper Ollie

"You need to practice day and night", got it.

I did learn something new here. Just stance. I am going to try the suggested stance for both of my feet. Because any of flip trick you need coordinate both feet in one fluent motion.

Ngl I consider myself relatively advanced at flat ground, but this vid made my heel flips so much cleaner and more consistent

Neen is definitely the guy to teach this

Love the pinky toe suggestion. It might be because I learned my heelflips on a 9" board, but I found that ideal because you can actually ollie and get that board up in the air before flipping it. I also feel like it promotes a more controlled flip. I pretty much use the exact same footing for kickflips but I adjust my back foot for the that opposing pop/flip motion.
