Oh my friggin god! I've been trying to heel for like 2 years. I've seen every tutorial on YouTube.. for some reason, you saying "bend your ankle inwards" made something click.
I was so focused on using my actual heel, that my ankle would really bend at all.
I ran outside to do what you said and BOOM! First try! Like what the hell!? Thank you 3000

This is my go-to move when I'm losing at a game of skate. I don't know why but a lot of people have trouble with heelflips. And if I'm really losing I'll go for my "special trick", which is just a nollie heelflip.
