Great review alex, I noticed this one has starvis 2 on the front sensor and it seems more and more are getting this. Viofo is one of the few that actually has starvis 2 both front and back which is unusual and the price reflects that but I suspect the prices will come down for those. The one thing I did notice is that on the playback screen on the unit while it shows thumbnails there is no date and time display so it could make it very hard to find the actual playback pic but I think most would use the phone to do that and it does have it there.

Nice informative video thank you. I do have one question. When I watch a saved video I don't get the GPS info to show on my video. I only get date and time. No coordinates or speed?

Hi! I bought the hardwire kit but I don’t see anything indicating a cap on voltage so it won’t drain the battery. (I learned about that feature from one of your other videos lol) Does Focuway have technology to avoid battery drainage?

Hi Sir, thanks for the video. I am interested to buy a android mirror dashcam for my car. Could you please suggest me if there is any mirror dashcam which comes with all the features like 4k recording dual channel, mobile app support with wifi and also comes with Android auto option so that I can use it like mirror dashcam and navigate google map as well. Actually the closest one I know is that you have reviewed Wolfbox 2024 G480H which has all the features I like but only missing is that the android auto sharing

Alex quick question, is says it supports WIFI but doesn't say if it is dual mode i.e. 2.4/5 ghz. If it is the 2.4 it would be quite slow at either downloading videos or OTA updates, I could not find anywhere where it says it is dual band.

Correction - turnng off loop recording will NOT produce one long hours-long file. The videos will still be recorded in 5 minute segments, and the dashcam will stop recording once it gets full. But the most bizzare thing about this dashcam is that I can't connect the rear cam! Both the power connector and the rear dash cam connector are L-shaped, and are so close to one another that you can only insert one, but not the other! So, I will need to buy a non-L-shaped USB extension cord to connect the rear dashcam, unless there is a trick to it I am not aware of. Alex, how did you manage to connect the rear dash cam???
