Meryl Streep Said Dustin Hoffman Groped Her

Following a sexual harassment accusation against Dustin Hoffman, another story about the actor acting inappropriately has resurfaced. Slate found a 1979 Time interview with Meryl Streep in which the actress recalled that Hoffman placed a hand on her breast during their first introduction. She told the magazine, “What an obnoxious pig, I thought.” The two actors allegedly did not get along on the set of “Kramer vs. Kramer.” According to a feature on Streep in Vanity Fair last year, Hoffman told Streep, “Meryl, why don’t you stop carrying the flag for feminism and just act the scene." Hoffman was accused of sexual harassment by Anna Graham Hunter last week, who claims that he repeatedly harassed her on the set of “Death of a Salesman,” when Graham Hunter was 17 and Hoffman was 47.

This was from an interview nearly 30 years ago, and Hoffman has admitted to slapping and groping Streep to get a reaction out of her and she called him, at the time, an obnoxious pig and I would agree.

Give a man like him any kind of friendship and he'll parlay it into sex. The majority of men in the world are sensitive to that and behave. Why is it okay for an a guy, an actor or Weinstein to think he/she gets off the hook when he/she does it to women? Those days are gone now. Who knows what the future holds?
