Since it wasn't explicitly said in the guide, you want to avoid cold damage and Freeze because you can actually shatter monsters. A shattered corpse is removed and thus cannot be horked. Physical damage is converted to magic damage via Berserk (that's why you can't leech with it by the way), cold damage however is not afaik.

Assuming the magic find on the rest of the gear is high enough (say, 150%+) then dual, 2X Isted Ali-baba's are a better offhand switch than 2X 6-Isted phase blades. The diminishing returns on magic find's chance of finding unique items mean they're almost no effective difference between 2X 6-Isted Phase Blades and 2X, 2-Isted Ali-babas when it comes to finding uniques, especially if you have a substantial amount of magic find on the rest of your gear. However, the 2X Ali-Babas will give you some pretty insane gold find, allowing you to run your barb as both a Travincal magic finder and a Travincal gold finder.

This build got me a Jah rune within 60 or so runs.. I kid you not. It was on a hork too. I've done 10x this on a pally as well, with overall faster per runs. This is legit. Thx MrLama! Edit.. yes you really only need 1 point in find item and max find potion with enough skills. It does cap out really easy.

So I realize this video is old now but I'd like to ask if you'd consider revisiting this topic now that we have find potion as a synergy for find item. I've seen some say WW barb is perhaps the better option so you can max the find potion synergy, would love to hear your thoughts or even see what a WW magic find barb looks like. There isn't an Attack Speed bug in D2R with Babba offhand, but there is a weird "naked" stats bug. If you can use one of the weapons naked (babba) it uses that one for damage and speed calcs. You can't use gear to dual wield a Grief and Babba and get the benefits. It WRECKS the build stats wise. Isted PB is the only way to go.

Am I right in saying defense value is worthless on this build as we are either running or hitting? (Forget tele as emigma is extremely hard for casual players)

Grief makes a big difference.. got 2 mal 1 sur 1 iston one day farming. Just make sure you have highlords raven and a dwarfstar and you're good to go!

Only put 1 point into find item. It has diminishing returns after lvl 15 or so. Instead put points in potion find which gives 1% synergy. Warcry charms and gear will bring find item to the point where it no longer gives 1% per lvl. Otherwise great video!
