With no airport and the naval blockade, Gazans are confined to an area forty-one kilometres long and from four to twelve kilometres wide.

With oppressive IDF surveillance, regular extra-judicial killings, economic restrictions and even a plan to limit the caloric intake to keep all Gazans hungry.

Add to this the IDF cutting Gazan water, power and communications, can those of us on the outside be blamed for concluding Gaza is an open air prison?
