You Can Now Mod The Quest From Inside The Headset!

In today's video, I will show you how to enable and use ADB directly thereon your Quest. Once you have this set up on your Quest 2 or Quest Pro, you will no longer require a PC to mod your device. You will be able to do everything on the headset through termux and run all the commands you would normally run on your PC on your headset. This will allow you to change things like the CPU & GPU level, boosting your performance or your resolution, and giving you better visuals without needing a PC. Today we will be following a tutorial from Bastis server that seems to work for most! I hope you enjoy the video :D

Hello. Do you manage to change the screen resolution to quest pro? I tried both through the buttons in the sidequest and through the adb commands. But he doesn't accept them (adb shell setprop debug.oculus.texture) maybe there are other commands? the resolution was written by w1800(1808) h 1920 and others. The screen was briefly turned off by the power button. The permission was checked through OVRMetrics.

With a custom launcher, you can actually access the device android settings from within the headset

I couldn't get the adb connect 127.0.0.1:PORT NUMBER working. It just won't connect and adb connect seems to keep changing the port number every time it re-connects. Anyone else have this problem ?

Running a command in sidequest shows nothing and does nothing. Opening oculus wireless adb does nothing because it's not been granted but its not working at all on anything
