Thanks for sharing. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, your under water footage of cavitation on a bad installed transducer provides valuable guidance on transducer installation.

Even at 80 MPH I am able to track bottom. I did an underwater video after seeing this. Thanks.

whats the difference on a simrad go7 3 in 1 Active Imaging vs Total Scan Transducer

Just installed elite 9 ti with total scan transducer. Adjusting the total scan is a night mare. I have a G3 164c boat. Getting it to read right at high speeds is hard. Adjusted the transducer up and down. Tried putting transducer bottom even with bottom of boat. Lost bottom at 20 mph. So I dropped it down some which helped. But now I get a giant rooster tail shooting out the back. 😡. Any suggestions.
