The NEO: Delicious, affordable espresso at home

The NEO makes delicious, in-home espresso easily and affordably. We designed this product knowing that Moka pots, many pod machines, and other in-home brewers claim to make espresso, but really only provide you with a cup of strong coffee, unless you want to pay hundreds or thousands of dollars.

We created the NEO to be simple, environmentally-friendly, cost-effective, and fun, all while producing delicious espresso.

I'm very interested in the Neo on Kickstarter, but the postage cost to the UK ($60 if I remember) is prohibitively expensive, outweighing my intended saving with the Neo compared to the Classic. Stocks of the Classic are difficult to find in the UK too. It looks like I'll need to wait until the Neo is on standard retail in the UK. Good to see the focus on a more entry level model though - this will broaden appeal, affordability and sales.

Can we take a moment to celebrate their extremely realistic estimate of what you could save per year? 😅 Marketing teams for coffee products are ALWAYS inflating that number saying you’ll save “thousands” as if everyone on earth is spending $5-$7 a day on coffee, and that their home brewing solution is going to replace Lattes and such at no additional cost or effort. Flair’s assumption is much more honest, and supposes that some people are spending less than $2 a day on coffee, which is true for many (if not most) people.

Will this new portafilter be available for purchase at some point for use on the Flair Classic? I was hesitant to purchase another standard one to have around for doing multiple shots in a row, but I'm definitely interested in giving this a try on my Classic.

Im very interested on the product, but would like to know if later on I could use the pro brew head on the Neo set in case I want to brew a bigger portion as the pro allows.

I received mine a few days ago and made two shots already. When I pull my shots, the cylinder tends to lift itself from the portafilter. Why is that? Is my grind size too fine?

i just got my flair neo today. and the water won't go through the portafilter and i cannot push down. i think it's clogged? but i haven't used it :( please help
