in this video number {925} LED driver circuit using LIS9412, i explained Non-isolated step-down LED driver controller. Patented CCM working mode, Feed-forward current sampling without burning lamp beads, Over-temperature current foldback function, The most streamlined system structure, No input/output electrolytic operation, Input / Output Voltage "Zero" Distance, Integrated high-voltage start-up and high-voltage power supply functions, Integrated leading edge blanking (LEB), Integrated inductance compensation function
overview
LIS9412 is a control chip dedicated to LED constant current drive. It is suitable for step-down non-isolated applications. By adopting a number of patented control technologies, the system architecture has been simplified to the greatest extent. LIS9412 works in the inductor current continuous mode, no output filter capacitor is needed, and the ripple current of the load can still be kept at a low level; at the same time, compared with the current discontinuous mode, the peak current is smaller and the effective current is smaller, so the device loss is lower. The system can easily reach an efficiency of more than 95%. LIS9412 adopts the patented output constant current technology to ensure that the output current does not change with the inductance and the voltage of the LED light string, and achieves excellent load regulation. LIS9412 integrates high-voltage start-up and high-voltage power supply functions, without the need for start-up resistors or power supply windings. LIS9412 also integrates complete protection functions, including cycle-by-cycle overcurrent protection of input current, open-circuit protection of current detection pin, IC over-temperature regulation function, and short-circuit protection of output terminal, etc.

Good job Sir..
You are not just teaching the basic.. You are teaching how it works..And that is why you are the best...👏👏
Keep on uploading Sir..thank you.always watching from Philippines

Great video sir. I am very amazed with this video. You only not show how thing works, but also showcase your knowledge of different languages.

Excellent explanation. The new Chinese bulbs are even simpler, just the control IC and the LEDs direct to 220v (in my region), no capacitor, resistor or coil.

The great feature of all those type of circuits is their hackability. I have been tweaking the current sensing resistor in all my bulbs at home to reduce to half or less the current. Higher resistor, less current, a lot less heat, less stress on LEDs (they never burn now) and you get a very reduced electrical bill with still a lot of lumens.

This works great for ceiling lamps with many bulbs. Where before I had 3x6watt bulbs, now I have 4x2w modified ones. Less than half wattage.

Hello Mr. Haseeb.
I have seen your video and even though it is somewhat chaotic and your usage of the english language is not a 10/10, I must say that it was very informative.
Several other comments also mention qualitive aspects of your content.
Thank you! I might subscribe to the channel.

You make it so easy to comprehend. I'm surprised there is now that simple of a driver device for LED bulbs. That explains how some I've seen are almost as inexpensive as the old incandescent bulb we use to use. 👍

Great timing - I just took my spiral LED bulb apart yesterday to see if I could figure out why it failed. Amazingly I have 2 of the same bulbs that failed after 2 years and the boards inside are somewhat different from each other, different LED drivers too ... go figure. I love these bulbs (ANMIEN 120w) but now they are hard to find. 🙁 This is a great explanation of how the circuitry of an LED light bulb works. No more basic lightbulbs 😅 Very interesting lesson nonetheless, thank you!! 🤓 Just curious if there is a way to test the LED driver IC?
