GIS Day - An Introduction to Maps (Secondary Schools in Oke-Ila)
In celebration of the GIS Day 2022, we engaged two secondary schools in the remote town of Oke-Ila in Osun State, South-West Nigeria. Presentation focused on Introducing digital maps, demonstrating World Imagery WayBack functionality, BaseMaps uses, and StoryMaps The participants are from Hope and Glory Secondary school and Abolarin College and converge in one of the halls in the school, with 52 Geography students in attendance.
